Quilting?

I've been reading numerous blogs and articles about "how to blog" or the like.  There are so many different opinions out there, but the one central theme I've found is: blog about what you love.  Otherwise you won't do it.  I'm about to hit my 1 month anniversary of blogging this Sunday (cue standing ovation and balloons).  Looking back on day 1, I wasn't sure I'd keep up with it..or even if I'd want to.  Now I think about my little bitsy blog all the time.  Wanting to post on just about everything.

Today I'm feeling so unproductive.  I've got super senioritis at law school and just want to be done with it.   While I was browsing the internet in classic procrastinator fashion, I came across some quilts.  I have a quilt that my grandmother made.  But, I've never thought about using a quilt as a comforter.  What rooms if any do have a quilt for comforter substitute?
Here's a few I feel like I might be able to try.

Good Morning?

Again I find myself wishing I had more (any) readers.  How do you all start your mornings?  I am at this slow-moving place in my life where I don't have to be at work first thing in the morning.  For all the work from home peeps out there, what do you do?  I recently purchased two cans of the Republic of Tea's Be Well  line of tea's.  Get Smart and Get Gorgeous.  It's funny because I stopped drinking coffee my first year of law school.  I drank it every day, then every couple hours, and the habit finally maxed out when I was literally drinking coffee at every meal and before bed.  Ulcers and Christmas break happened.  I told myself I would just lay off the joe for the break, but I never started again when the spring semester began and here I am 2 1/2 years later...clean and sober.  So when I reach for my teas (I am such an impulse tea buyer...grow up Sarah) I find myself wondering: do I want to be smart or gorgeous today?  Maybe I should combine them both.  On a side note, all of these teas are caffeine free!  Here are a couple others I (and you) must try get passionate (for libido!), get-a-grip  (for pms), and get happy (for uplifting your spirits).
Anyways, I sat down at our kitchen table, which feels more like a messy library/work desk.  Lord will I be happy when our law school days are over!  In fact I'm inclined to show you (readers who don't exist) what exactly is happening over here in our house on the "dining room" table.  So...I sat down, drank some smart tea, checked my dreaded email, read a few of my favorite blogs, and slowly began to feel better about my morning.
What do you all do to get the creative or productive juices flowing?

1st Thursday in March

I did it.  I ran the google search: how to make your own blog.  I clicked the links, I changed some colors, varied the fonts, uploaded a picture.  And here I am.  Searching for something to say.  I should start this blog by saying something about myself, in the off chance someone reads this.   I've been living in New Mexico for almost 8 months now.  I am in my last year of law school and just like that, it's almost over.  I have no idea what I want to do with my legal degree, or if I want to do anything at all related to the law.  Hopefully we will all come to find the answer is yes. In the meantime, I'd like to use this blog to post about things that make me happy during the day or anytime at all.  I am ready to leave my law school life behind and start living.

I have noticed that I am constantly biting my tongue.   I go back and forth, am I just so mean I can't say anything out loud? Am I scared people are going to judge me?  Is what I have to say really so important other people must hear it?  So many questions regarding why I don't speak up.  Today, I want to blame these thoughts on law school.  None the less,  I am constantly struggling to find my voice.  With people I'm close with, one on one, small groups, or large groups.
I found Dr. Tingley's blog and it's all about helping women find the confidence to speak and be heard.
